![]() Try this, TURN ON AIRPLANE MODE OR OTHERWISE DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET. This assumes your have your installation disk with install code. By default my program was set to "Auto Install Updates" and they slid their bug into my program without me knowing. Update 2: I believe this User Account funny business was pushed in through their latest update in October 2021. They say you will have to install the updated version which is of course subscription based. They explained this as "their system won't allow it" meaning their internal system that manages and randomly disables user accounts. They will not allow it to be installed on a different computer in the future, even if it is running the same operating system. If you purchased a stand-alone version of Quickbooks in the past, it will only continue to work in the future on the computer it is currently installed on. Update: I finally got clarification from someone at Intuit. ![]() Has anyone been able to move their perpetual license to another computer via speaking with Support? This is an obvious attempt to force people off the perpetual license and onto the subscription model. The program has a Migration Tool and the final step is getting an Activation Code through support, and they will not give one. I just want to transfer it to a new computer but Intuit will not let me. I have Desktop 2019 which suits all my needs.
